Product Description
The MD50 multimeter was designed to measure essential electrical quantities in energy management, automation, and control systems. With high performance, high sensitivity, and measurement in four quadrants (consumption and generation), it monitors several parameters such as: voltage (phase and line), current, total power factor, and in each phase, active, reactive and apparent powers, harmonic distortion, among others.
The MD50 is a powerful data collection tool with a 60-day mass memory that can be integrated with energy management and power quality systems such as the POWER5000, energy apportionment software such as the Power3000 or supervisory software and specific systems, since it has MODBUS TCP/IP protocol via Ethernet RJ45 output and an open memory map for other integrations. The MD50 multimeter allows for numerous network topology combinations.
It adapts to any situation in a simple way, allowing scalable growth, reducing infrastructure costs, and high-speed data transmission (100 Mbps). Based on a defragmented topology, it has mass memory and individual operation, not being dependent on (although it can be used with) network hubs or masters.
